Quietly making a big difference every day, Mrs. Shepherd is one of the kindest and most caring members of our school community. She works behind the scenes with our English language learners, offering patient support, gentle encouragement, and a warm smile that helps every student feel seen and valued. Mrs. Shepherd’s heart shines brightly in all she does. We are so grateful for the compassion, dedication, and calm positivity she brings to our school family! Mrs. Deeran recognized Mrs. Shepherd with the award.
The RVES Piece By Piece award goes to Stephanie Prochnow. She is always smiling, even though adversity, which she has had more than her share. Her wisdom and experience in teaching and in life is a roadmap for all of us. Steph is truly an inspiration.😊

RVMS Best Staff Ever award passed from Groundskeeper, Nathan Pulsipher to Title Reading Aide, Julie Brady. Nathan says, "Julie is kind, helpful and always has a smile. She cares about the students and staff and it shows in the way she carries herself throughout the day." Best Teacher Ever award passed from Social Studies teacher, Ryan Lloyd to ELA Teacher, Tawna Brown. Ryan says, "Tawna is a great colleague and teacher. You're doing something right when students are talking about how much they enjoyed a lesson. I heard several stories from students about their Socratic Seminar and was even told I need to try it out. On top of that, she brought our school's spirit line back to life. It's been great to see all the hard work the ladies put in on the sidelines during the games." Thank you Ms. Brady and Ms. Brown for all you do for our staff and students! ❤️
Congratulations to RVMS 7th grade softball and the Cheer team on a great season! 7th grade softball finished 6-1, gained lots of experience and showed improvement. Cheer had an amazing fall season as well and were even invited to do a pep assembly for the Primary school! Good luck to the RVMS 8th grade softball team in the White Mountain League finals on Saturday! They beat Holbrook yesterday, 6-5 to secure their spot. They will take on the Show Low/Snowflake winner at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Show Low High School. Let's go Lady Elks! ❤️🥎

We have been fundraising the last two weeks to get to this point. We are so excited to have some FUN! We have a fun afternoon planned for the run. We encourage parents to come join us if you would like to. The fun starts at 1:30, with 4th grade, 1:45-5th grade, and 2:00-3rd grade. Thank you to TEP for the hydration. Gatorade!!!
Thank you to everyone for donating and helping out. We haven't quite met our goal; we are super close though. Donations will be open through the weekend. Help us cross the finish line.
What does this fundraiser support?
Our playground could use some shade for the warmer months. We would love to get some form of shade out there. Any money left after that, will be equally divided between the teachers at RVES for additional support items that they may need. This could be Teacher's Pay Teacher's resources (premade, fun worksheets or activities), Supplies, additional educational magazines, etc. Whatever the teacher may need or want to help make the learning process a little more fun and engaging.

RVMS 7th grade ELA teacher, Tawna Brown, led her Honors ELA class in a Socratic seminar. They researched their topic, had statistics, asked questions of each other, and deepened their understanding of the topic. It was an amazing learning experience and very impressive! Great job to our students and thank you Mrs. Brown for all you do for our students!

RVPS wants to give a huge shout-out and thank you to Mr. Tom Pifer for all his hard work and dedication at RVPS! Our students are loving the awesome new turf and soccer field on the playground , and the sandboxes. Coach Pifer works tirelessly behind the scenes to do all he can for the students. We are so grateful for all you do! We had a little fun thanking him by wear Pifer hats and displaying old track photos of Coach Pifer! 😃
