RVMS had an amazing assembly yesterday to celebrate the "A" letter grade awarded to our school that was earned through the hard work of our students and staff! Students who showed the most growth points on their Math and ELA tests got to Pie Principal Muth! They did a great job of that! Congratulations to Halle Finch, Ty Geisler, and Ivan Cisneros for having the most growth in the whole school! Another big congratulations to Korie Crick, Vincent Lemak, Wade Webb, and Kaleb Tadlock for showing growth in both Math and ELA! WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR STUDENTS!
We also honored our Wrestling and Volleyball teams for their great seasons, had a fun game of students vs. staff dodge ball, and had Miko Mix run the flag with the help of Mr. Romain! We love these kids, we love our school, Go Elks! ❤️

RVMS Teacher Aide, Michelle Dennee, nominates Behavior Assistant, Bee Dozier, for Best Staff Ever. Mrs. Dennee says, "Mrs. Bee, the lady that is everywhere! Always ready to help with a happy smile! She knows every student by name and is the best at helping redirect students with compassion, love, and discipline when necessary. She creates the best environment for everyone with her honesty and kindness. She is so much fun to work with and we are all very lucky to have her here." Congratulations Bee!
RVMS teacher, Melissa Tippit nominates Title Math teacher, Darla Udall for "Best Teacher Ever". Mrs. Tippit says, "Darla is always willing to lend a hand wherever is needed without question and has a true heart of gold. Additionally, she is friendly and brings joy to everyone in the halls with her smile and chats. Furthermore, she always has the best interest of kids and put forth the extra effort to assist them in achieving their best. I love that she is always checking in on her teammates as well as the students. We are truly blessed at RVMS to have such a dedicated and loving teacher as Darla amongst our roster!" ⭐️ RVPS Elks Super Star Award! 🌟 Ms. Hyer is a fantastic person and teacher. She always has so many amazing and creative ideas for her class. She works hard, and is always willing to help other teachers with anything. I know I can go to her with any questions I have. She is smart and kind, and you can tell she loves all her students. Ms. Hyer was recognized by Mrs. Parnell.

Ms. Dee would like to nominate Mrs. Lanae Redgrave for the Piece by Piece Leader. She is like a shepherd, her students know her voice and when they hear her, they flock to her. She is a great listener, and she helps them when they are hurting. She holds their hands when they are walking and is the thing they need at the moment. She is outstanding.
RVMS 6th grade ELA teacher, Colette Myers, is teaching her students how to write an argumentative essay on self expression. Her lesson included an activity where students matched elaboration with quotations. The students competed for fastest times within their groups and had a great time learning! ❤️
RVMS Art teacher, Kim Morgan, had students create a batik project. They created a pumpkin on burlap and finished projects were displayed on our library wall. Thank you to Mrs. Morgan for bringing in a variety of art projects for our students to learn! ❤️

RVMS Best Teacher Ever award is passed on from Jenniffer Leonhardt to Math teacher, Melissa Tippit. Ms. Leonhardt says, "She is always looking out for our students and doing what is best for them. Her positive outlook and upbeat mentality is contagious. Students absolutely love her and how she is invested in their education. She's always looking for new education opportunities for herself and shares with everyone. As a parent, Mrs. Tippett has helped my child become a better student. My student never wanted to be at school never wanted to do their work. Now my student is excited to come to school and do the work.
