She has a positive attitude which creates a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Her creativity is evident in her lessons, and engaging activities. She understands that each student learns at their own pace and provides individualized support as needed. She is hard-working, consistently going above and beyond to ensure her students' success. Thank you to Tara Cluff and McKenzi Slade for everything you do for our students, also to Jane Finch for her sewing expertise and to Kim Morgan and the art students for the work they did on the sets and masks. Darla Udall has nominated 6th grade Science teacher, Suzanne Willis for the RVMS Best Teacher Ever award. Mrs. Udall says, "I am so impressed with how engaged her students are each time I pass her classroom. She breaks down the science concepts into pieces that the students can easily consume. She sets boundaries and is consistent with where the boundary is and her students know how to speak, work, and behave in her class. She is kind and approachable for students and other teachers. She is quick to offer help or a solution to problems. She supports her colleagues through positive friendship, and real specific praise. I am so glad she decided to come back to public school and more importantly that she chose RVMS. She is the consummate TEAM player!" Congratulations Mrs. Willis!

Round Valley Elementary School showed up today at the Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot district competition in Camp Verdi. We had two students competing Starr Lester and Colter Hamblin. Colter placed first and will be moving on to state next month in Apache Junction. Way to go!

Congratulations to RVMS Wrestling on a great season! At the White Mountain League Finals, we had 8 wrestlers top 6: Jason Avery, Jett Finch, Trigg Finch, Hunter Hyer, Hunter Icenhour, Tyson Marble, Coleman Pettit, and Wade Webb. 4 wrestlers placed in top 4: 4th place- Archer Icenhour, 3rd place- Landyn Foreman, 2nd place- Damian Peralta and Trevin Hamblin. We also had a White Mountain League CHAMPION, Dawson Lester! Thank you Coach Workman, Coach Mortensen, and Coach Leonhardt!!!

Whether it’s a school event, a community project, or a colleague in need, Kayla steps in with enthusiasm and genuine care.
This year, she completed her National Board Teacher Certification, a testament to her commitment to excellence and her passion for continual growth.
