RVMS fun night at The Lodge Tuesday, September 17 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.!

RVMS observed 9/11 today by starting with a flag raising ceremony. The Honor Choir sang the National Anthem while Mr. Bottachiari's Military Club demonstrated standing in formation and saluting the flag. Students said the Pledge of Allegiance while Mrs. Bottachiari's Sign Language Club practiced signing the Pledge. Very cool addition to our flag raising and the kids did a great job! We observed a moment of silence for all first responders and innocent victims who perished on 9/11 while our Honor Band played Taps. Staff and students are wearing our best red, white, and blue today in honor of Patriot Day and the memory of the victims of 9/11.

This Wednesday, RVUSD will be celebrating Patriot Day. Patriot Day is observed to honor and remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. We welcome the community to participate in a Walk of Remembrance beginning at 6pm @ Ramsey Park and walk to the Dome for a remembrance ceremony.
