RVMS would like to say a huge thank you to RVPD Chief Dayson Merrill and all of the first responders who helped us evacuate our campus to conduct a Reunification Drill today. All students and staff were evacuated and arrived to the Dome in 26 minutes! Thank you to our parent volunteers who came to pick up their children and help us practice our safety protocols. The average time to get parents reunited with their children was 7 minutes. That's awesome! It was a team effort today and we appreciate our teachers, staff, students, and parents for practicing these very important school safety protocols. Through practice we see where improvements need to be made and are always working to get better. Go Elks! ❤️

RVMS is currently conducting a schoolwide reunification safety DRILL. Students will be bussed from the middle school to the dome at this time. The RV Police Dept is involved in our safety DRILL, and police officers will be present. There will be follow up communication with instructions, as to where to go and what time to pick up your students, sent to parents who are available and would like to participate in the drill. For those students whose parents will not be available to pick them up, they will be bussed home from the dome at the regular dismissal time. During the time of the drill RVUSD may send more practice communication to parents to ensure we are completing a comprehensive practice drill. We appreciate your patience as we complete this safety drill.
