Food Drive Sept 11th to the 28th.

RVMS students met at the flagpole this morning to kick off our 9/11 Remembrance Day with the National Anthem, moment of silence, and the pledge. Thank you to Tara Cluff for leading us in the National Anthem and for Wil Rose's homeroom class for raising the flag. Social Studies classes will be working on remembrance activities with all our students and Kim Morgan's art classes displayed 9/11 artwork around the school as well. Marcelle Donaldson announced the Community Day of Remembrance walk tonight at 6 p.m. at Ramsey Park that will go to the Dome Flagpole. We have our Guess Your Teacher winners, Avery Marble and Riley Morgan! Teachers and staff were asked to bring a picture of when they were in middle school and it was so much fun trying to match the staff member to their pictures during lunch! Congratulations Avery and Riley!

Grade Level Parent Meeting on Monday, August 28 to discuss attendance, discipline, schedule of events and answer any questions you may have. Our 5th/6th grade parents will meet at 5:30 p.m. and out 7th/8th grade parents will meet at 6:30 p.m. Meetings will be held in the Gym.

RVES students had an exciting day learning all about hot air balloons! We would like to thank Sierra Propane for sponsoring and putting on the event, and the RV Fire and Medical Department for volunteering their time, as well. Congratulations to our RVMS Perfect Attendance Winners of the Week! Apache County Fair donated two Carnival Tickets and the winners are Emmitt Senoff and Dylan Dewitt.   RVHS donated 5 Student Tickets to the Home Football Game and our winners are Seth Whitaker, Amara Simpson, Shomari Henry, Brody Sayles, and Ruby Slade.
