RVMS will have the RV school spirit store on our campus on Thursday, November 30 from 11-1 during student lunches. Lots of items for sale and will make great Christmas presents! Prices are listed on the pictures. Thank you for your support!











RVMS Choir and Band Concert on Tuesday, November 28 at 6:00 p.m. in the RVHS auditorium. We hope you can join us!


RVMS Basketball tryouts for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls will be the week of December 11. Girls will be from 3:30-5:30, Boys from 6-7:30 in the Middle School gym. Boys Open Gym will be the from December 4th-7th from 6-7:30 in the MS Gym. Girls will start on the 11th.

The “Mother & Son Monster Truck Night” was a hit. Thank you to all the moms, grandmas, aunts, and friends who brought the boys to the event. It is a joy to watch families laughing and making memories together!


RVMS choir and band students were invited to participate in the 2023 Northeast Region Junior High Festival in Show Low yesterday along with other mountain schools. They were able to work with a choir clinician from EAC, Professor Chase Moore, and then performed a concert together with all schools. Shout out to Mrs. Shumway and Mrs. Cluff for all their hard work in our music department! Mrs Cluff said, "These students were unbelievable in character, respect, and kindness. I could not be more proud of their Exemplary Elk Pride. Both Band and Choir showed excellence throughout the whole day and gave an amazing performance!!" Great job!!! ❤️

RVMS inducted 45 new members into the National Junior Honor Society tonight. NJHS is an academic club based on service, has a motto of "service before self", and exemplifies pillars of Leadership, Service, Character, Citizenship, and Scholarship. Students went through an application process, must maintain their grades and complete 20 hours of community service per year. RVMS is proud of these students, CONGRATULATIONS!!! ❤️ Officers for this year: President- Marcus Mortensen, Vice President- Ashlyn Haws, Co- Secretaries- Rowan Davis and Kivrin Richins, Treasurer- Peyton Tucker, and Historian- Davis Hunt. Advisors are John Romain and Kimberley Tucker.

RVES honored our Veterans with patriotic songs, Proud to be an American essays, thank you letters, and student created decorations at our Veterans Day Program. We were honored to have Mr. Kortan lead our student body in The Star Spangled Banner on the trumpet. We also had Mr. James Zawacki, a proud US Air Force and Vietnam Veteran, speak to our students. He is an Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Inductee, over the last 22 years only 500 of almost 600,000 in Arizona have been inducted! Thank you to all our veterans for your courage, strength and dedication to keeping us safe. 🇺🇸










RVMS Veteran's Day tribute! We have 3 staff members who served our country, Jenniffer Leonhardt (8th grade Math)- Navy, Ryan Lloyd (7th grade Social Studies)- Air Force, and Ryan Bottachiari (8th grade ELA)- Marines. Thank you for your service! Students also brought in pictures of family member Veterans for our tribute and thank you wall. RVMS would like to say thank you to all veterans for their service to our country!











Two RVMS students were recently featured in the newspaper for participating in the RV Rodeo Junior competition, William McBride for Roping and Hayden McCall for Barrel Racing. Big Shoutout to William McBride for winning Junior All Round Roping, Junior All Around Speed, Junior Team Roping, and Junior Breakaway Roping! We are proud of you!



REMINDER! Tomorrow will be Voting Day, so if you haven't mailed your ballot, you can drop it at the Round Valley Annex Building located in 309 S. Mountain Ave. Springerville.

RVMS congratulates our November Students of the Month, nominated by their teachers: 8th grade Jayden Allen, 5th grade Wyatt Tucker, 7th grade Craig Choate, and 6th grade Sydney Woods. Mr. Will Littell was nominated by staff members for our "Kind of a Big Deal" award and students wrote several elk tags nominating Mrs. Ashlee Smith. Congratulations!
