Good Morning! Today is the RVES ELK DASH!!!
We have been fundraising the last two weeks to get to this point. We are so excited to have some FUN! We have a fun afternoon planned for the run. We encourage parents to come join us if you would like to. The fun starts at 1:30, with 4th grade, 1:45-5th grade, and 2:00-3rd grade. Thank you to TEP for the hydration. Gatorade!!!

What does this fundraiser support?
Our playground could use some shade for the warmer months. We would love to get some form of shade out there. Any money left after that, will be equally divided between the teachers at RVES for additional support items that they may need. This could be Teacher's Pay Teacher's resources (premade, fun worksheets or activities), Supplies, additional educational magazines, etc. Whatever the teacher may need or want to help make the learning process a little more fun and engaging.

4th Grade Fossil Dig. Being paleontologists for the day. Each team got to dig, find, and categorize a fossil.

RVMS 7th grade ELA teacher, Tawna Brown, led her Honors ELA class in a Socratic seminar. They researched their topic, had statistics, asked questions of each other, and deepened their understanding of the topic. It was an amazing learning experience and very impressive! Great job to our students and thank you Mrs. Brown for all you do for our students!
The Round Valley Police Officers visited kindergarten classrooms for community helpers day!
RVMS Choir Carwash and Bake Sale, we hope to see you there!
RVPS wants to give a huge shout-out and thank you to Mr. Tom Pifer for all his hard work and dedication at RVPS! Our students are loving the awesome new turf and soccer field on the playground , and the sandboxes. Coach Pifer works tirelessly behind the scenes to do all he can for the students. We are so grateful for all you do! We had a little fun thanking him by wear Pifer hats and displaying old track photos of Coach Pifer! 😃

RVMS "Tatt the Teacher" fundraiser for Student Council went well last week! Students purchased tattoos throughout the week to put them on their teachers to wear throughout the day. Mr. Merrill received the most, so fun!
RVMS Homecoming float won 2nd place in the Homecoming parade last week! Thank you to Kim Morgan and her amazing art students for helping with the float and also to Student Council advisors Darla Udall and Jenniffer Leonhardt! Go Elks! ❤️
RVMS Best Teacher Ever award for this week is passed on from Ms. Kipf to Mr. Ryan Lloyd. Ms. Kipf says, "He is a great teacher who cares about the success of his students. He has engaging lessons that teach both history and include skills that will make his students better learners. He is always willing to go to their games or activities. He is willing to help out when asked even if that includes helping out with the 8th grade trip. He is someone I can go to for ideas or help with students. He is kind and knowledgeable and is here for the kids. I am honored to know and work with him." Congratulations Mr. Lloyd!
