Round Valley Middle School FBLA 1st place Chapter Sweepstakes at the State Competition this week! We had 10 students qualify for Nationals in Orlando! Very proud of our FBLA students and our advisors, Celina Goodman and Wendy Krueger!

Springerville is applying for a grant to receive approximately $300,000 in FY24 for four to eight Pickle Ball Courts in Pioneer Park. A public hearing will be held at the regular Town Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. on April 17, 2024, at the Springerville
Town Hall to discuss the potential project and potential funding with
the community.
RVMS has the BEST School Librarian around! Happy Librarian week to this special lady, Jane Finch. Our 5th graders decorated a wall for her with sweet messages. She is always helpful, thoughtful, and an overall amazing person with a good heart. We love you Jane!
RVES students were excited to view the solar eclipse today! Thanks to those who donated glasses, including Positive Solar from Snowflake.
RVMS loves our Assistant Principal, Mr. Tod Workman! We treated him to a chicken fried steak dinner. He helps in many ways at our school and we appreciate him! Thank you for keeping our students safe and on track. Happy Assistant Principal's Day!!!

RVMS Student Council has organized a memorial fundraiser in honor of our sweet friend and classmate, Skylar Shinkle, who passed away on Monday. The Round Valley Parent organization is also organizing a Penny War fundraiser at all schools starting on Monday to benefit local families, including the Shinkle family. 📚Next week is the RVES book fair MONDAY-THURSDAY 7:30-3:30. Family Night is TUESDAY, March 19th, from 4:30-7:00.
📚Parents can preload eWallets for their students to enjoy shopping at the book fair without having to carry cash.

RVMS is super proud of our students who participated in the Odyssey of the Mind regional competition! Dylan Dewitt, Nolan Smith, Cooper Oakes, Brody Miller, David Jones, and Blake Hamblin. The group placed 1st and 2nd and move on to the state competition on March 30. Thank you to their advisor, Amy Leeds! Great job and Go Elks! ❤️

RVMS 5th grade choir from Mrs. Udall's homeroom had a concert this week themed "Bee Happy". They had an amazing performance!
RVMS recognized our staff and students of the month at our assembly yesterday: 5th grade- Travis Parnell, 6th grade- Archer Morgan, 7th grade- Brisa Gonzalez, 8th grade- Reed Eubanks. Staff Elk Tag award was 7th grade Social Studies teacher, Ryan Lloyd and our Kinda A Big Deal award was awarded to 5th grade Social Studies teacher, Darla Udall. Congratulations!
