Kayla Nicolds is a truly outstanding educator and an even better human being. She consistently goes above and beyond in everything she does. In her classroom, Kayla is always seeking out and applying best practices, supporting her students and her team with dedication and heart. She is a natural leader—collaborative, thoughtful, and always willing to lend a hand. Whether it’s a school event, a community project, or a colleague in need, Kayla steps in with enthusiasm and genuine care.
This year, she completed her National Board Teacher Certification, a testament to her commitment to excellence and her passion for continual growth. Kayla is an amazing friend, co-worker, and teacher. Our school and community are truly blessed to have her. She embodies everything the Elks Super Star Award represents.

Mrs Parnell is a wonderful person and a great teacher. She is very patient and kind with all of her students. She cares about making a difference in what children are learning in the classroom and is always looking for new ways to help every student to do their best. Joyce Barker! Mrs. Barker consistently makes a positive difference at RVPS. She approaches every task with enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. Joyce takes on a wide range of responsibilities, including outside duty, cafeteria supervision, preparing classroom materials, and assisting students across subjects. She is always cheerful, greeting everyone with a smile and a wave, her kindness extends to both students and parents. Her dedication, compassion, and positive attitude make her an invaluable part of our School community. We are truly fortunate to have Joyce Barker at RVPS. RVPS wants to give a huge shout-out and thank you to Mr. Tom Pifer for all his hard work and dedication at RVPS! Our students are loving the awesome new turf and soccer field on the playground , and the sandboxes. Coach Pifer works tirelessly behind the scenes to do all he can for the students. We are so grateful for all you do! We had a little fun thanking him by wear Pifer hats and displaying old track photos of Coach Pifer! 😃
