Mrs Parnell is a wonderful person and a great teacher. She is very patient and kind with all of her students. She cares about making a difference in what children are learning in the classroom and is always looking for new ways to help every student to do their best. Joyce Barker! Mrs. Barker consistently makes a positive difference at RVPS. She approaches every task with enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. Joyce takes on a wide range of responsibilities, including outside duty, cafeteria supervision, preparing classroom materials, and assisting students across subjects. She is always cheerful, greeting everyone with a smile and a wave, her kindness extends to both students and parents. Her dedication, compassion, and positive attitude make her an invaluable part of our School community. We are truly fortunate to have Joyce Barker at RVPS. RVPS 2nd grade students had fun using their creativity to create models of landforms and water sources using play-dough and their knowledge from the geography lessons taught in class.

RVPS wants to give a huge shout-out and thank you to Mr. Tom Pifer for all his hard work and dedication at RVPS! Our students are loving the awesome new turf and soccer field on the playground , and the sandboxes. Coach Pifer works tirelessly behind the scenes to do all he can for the students. We are so grateful for all you do! We had a little fun thanking him by wear Pifer hats and displaying old track photos of Coach Pifer! 😃

RVPS Elks Super Star Award!
Carlie Baca is a dedicated employee at Round Valley Primary School. She may have been hired as an instructional kindergarten aide but she has personally extended her duties far above and beyond. She took on the role as our transportation coordinator, spending countless hours organizing aides and teachers and helping to keep our carpool running efficiently and safely for our students. Carlie maintains a cheerful attitude amidst chaos and is a go-to-employee when there are issues to be solved. Carlie has also stepped in as occasion needs to help teach classes, getting her substitute certificate in order to help out. Carlie has desires to be a teacher and while embracing her employment wholeheartedly, she also attends classes to get her teaching degree. Carlie is a valued friend and employee with a great sense of humor and we are lucky to have her at our school! Carlie was nominated by Kristen Gillespie, last year's Instructor of the year for RVPS.
RVPS Staff is excited to see all of the smiling faces tomorrow morning! It’s going to be a great year!
** We are excited to have our playground updated with turf. Installation took longer than expected, but students will still have the basketball courts and other outdoor play areas available. The playground equipment area will open back up shortly.
