RVES is incredibly proud of all of the students who participated in the Elk Dash race! Their hard work and dedication over the past few weeks truly paid off. They have been practicing diligently, and their perseverance and team spirit shone brightly on race day. A special shoutout to our amazing 4th graders who showed true sportsmanship and kindness by running alongside one of their classmates to the finish line. This moment exemplified the unity and support we strive for in our school community. Congratulations to each and every one of you for your fantastic effort and for making this event a huge success! Keep up the great work, and let's continue to reach new heights together! Thank you to Mrs. Sutton, Ms. Post, Ms. Nicolds, and Ms. Slade for making the Elk Dash a success! Reunification DRILL UPDATE: Parents/Guardians are currently picking up their students at the front of the dome. If there are any parents who would like to participate in the drill, you can still pick up your student. Please follow the previous instructions. Thank you

Reunification DRILL: RVMS Parents/Guardian: Middle school students have been bussed to the dome. If you would like to volunteer to be a part of the drill and pick up your student, please do the following: 1. Park in the front dome parking lot. 2. Take your drivers license/photo ID to the front table. 3. Request your student and follow further instructions. Thank you for your support and patience during this drill.

RVMS is currently conducting a schoolwide reunification safety DRILL. Students will be bussed from the middle school to the dome at this time. The RV Police Dept is involved in our safety DRILL, and police officers will be present. There will be follow up communication with instructions, as to where to go and what time to pick up your students, sent to parents who are available and would like to participate in the drill. For those students whose parents will not be available to pick them up, they will be bussed home from the dome at the regular dismissal time. During the time of the drill RVUSD may send more practice communication to parents to ensure we are completing a comprehensive practice drill. We appreciate your patience as we complete this safety drill. 

*ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR 2024-2025 IS UNDERWAY* Please complete the registration for your child at your earliest convenience. All students need to be registered for next school year before this school year ends. Parents must register their student for school every school year before they can begin school. We ask that you complete and submit the registration as soon as possible. If you know your student will not be returning with us for the upcoming school year, please notify your child's school so we will know not to expect you. *Don't forget* As one school year ends, another soon begins. When school starts again, schedules will not be handed out to students who have not yet completed their online registration. Get your student registered for next year today!

RVES wants to give a BIG shout out to Mrs. BillyJo Walker and Ms. Hannah Woods! Happy Administrative Professionals Day! These two ladies are the glue to our school! They always have a smile and an answer, even during the busiest of days. BillyJo and Hannah not only make sure our students’ needs are met, but also help out our staff member in many ways! We sure appreciate all you do for our school! 💛🖤 They declined a photo 🫣- so we are sharing a few of the thank you’s they received today. 😀

Online registration/enrollment for the upcoming school year is now open! Parents must register their student(s) every year, before the new school year begins. It is helpful to us if you submit your registration before this current school year ends. Using your Parent Portal, please submit the online registration as soon as possible. If you know your student will not be returning with us for the upcoming school year, please notify your child's school so we will know not to expect them. Once scheduling has been completed for the new school year, schedules will not be given out to those students who have not yet completed the online registration process. RVES students were excited to view the solar eclipse today! Thanks to those who donated glasses, including Positive Solar from Snowflake.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie Fundraiser! Thursday, April 11th at the RVHS Auditorium Concessions, bakery sale, and costume contest! Come out and support second grade!

📚Next week is the RVES book fair MONDAY-THURSDAY 7:30-3:30. Family Night is TUESDAY, March 19th, from 4:30-7:00. 📚Parents can preload eWallets for their students to enjoy shopping at the book fair without having to carry cash. 📚Parents can shop the book fair during the school day as well!

Third graders triumphantly concluded their Dr. Seuss Read-A-Thon fundraiser, turning pages and raising smiles for a successful literary adventure!

The elementary school was able to have a Skydome Planetarium come for a fun and exciting learning enrichment program. The students were able to learn more about our planets and their moons as well as the stars and a few stories about some constellations. The students loved learning in a different way to help them further understand the solar system! We hope that with enrichment programs like this, the students will have fun learning memories to help them enjoy learning about the solar system in their classrooms! Every child left the planetarium yesterday extremely excited about what they had learned! Thank you to Slade Morgan, Sadie Slade, BillyJo Walker, and Cass Pond for organizing this for our students!

We appreciate our RV Police Department for their help, Jerrae Wilson for bringing the HS Cheer Team and helping us do a fun assembly!
