For our Spanish speaking families, here is the information on our Reunification Drill on Thursday, May 1st. If you have any questions, please reach out to the school and we will clarify. 928-333-6600. Thank you.

The RVES Reunification Drill is this Thursday, May 1st. We will relocate our students to the Dome as part of the drill. We encourage everyone to participate and pick your child up. The drill pick-up times are from 12:45-3:00pm. Please bring your driver's license and come to the front ticket windows of the Dome. Please see the flyers for more information. A hard copy will be sent home today in backpacks.
Any students not picked up by 3:00pm will go home their normal way, however they will depart from the Dome, not RVES (with the exception of walkers). ALL students will go home from the Dome on May 1st. There will be no parent pick up at RVES that day. We will bus walkers back to the school so they can walk from there.

RVES wants to give a great big THANK YOU to White Mountain Regional Medical Center for the donation of Easter Eggs for every one of our students. Teachers were able to hide them and let students hunt for them. We appreciate it so much! Also, Mrs. Fuller's class made slime and 5th grade had fun making puppets. Great day leading into a long weekend. Happy Easter! Reminder no school on Monday, April 21st.

Today our 2nd grade classes had their annual Egg Drop. Students created their best egg safe container to be dropped off the top rung of a ladder. Each student got to see if their creation kept their egg safe. We only had a few eggs crack! We have a few future engineers here! Great job. Thank you to Mr. Thomas Noel for being willing to drop the eggs for us, all of the parents for showing up and helping out, and the teachers for taking the time to make it possible!

Our amazing students and staff took part in helping our kiddos celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Day! They handed out pins, and reminders cards to all staff. There was also cookie making and decorating, as well as crazy socks and our own chance to decorate our own socks. We are so grateful to Mrs. Hogle and her amazing team that helped make this possible. We have some great kids here at RVES.

We have had some fun this spring. Mrs. Fuller's 4th grade class are published authors, with their own stories and illustrations! We are proud of their work. Several of our 5th grade students earned a token to our book vending machine, and each one got a new book of their choice. Our teachers had a little fun searching for gold coins and winning prizes. Mrs. Redgrave found some sweet treats. And we love Mr. Lozoya and his passion for making every moment fun and memorable.

We've been busy with awards here at RVES. Our March Student of the Month awards, Kind Kids Awards, and our Kindness Lunch. We have some amazing kids doing great things.

RVES's annual book fair is happening right now! Family night is TONIGHT from 4:30-7:00pm. Everyone is welcome, come see all of the fun books and supplies. Last day of the book fair is Thursday, March 20th.
