Procedure:

To enhance the safety and protection of your child, we do not accept transportation changes (i.e. bus changes, student pick-up) for your child over the phone. We will not accept transportation changes after 3:00 p.m.

To request a transportation change, we will require the following:

• A written and signed note from the parent/guardian indicating the type of transportation change needed. If your child is to ride the bus to a different location, please provide the address and name of the person of that residence. Or send an email to the ES front office.

• Your child will need to give this note to their teacher when they arrive at school in the morning.

• If you see that you need to make a transportation change after the school day has begun, you will need to come to the school and provide a written request for the transportation change.

We will work with you in an emergency situation where an unforeseen transportation change is needed. We apologize for any inconvenience and ask for your understanding and cooperation. Again, the safety and protection of your child is our primary concern. We want to make sure your child leaves school at the end of the day and arrives home safely without confusion or any mishap.
