and your child's fun and enjoyment and to assist them in
conducting research on the web. Please take note that
because of the nature of the Internet, and the World Wide
Web in particular, it is still possible to access a series
of links that may take one to almost anywhere. In other
words, in spite of our efforts to supply appropriate
material and links on this page, parents should supervise
children while they surf the Web. The Round Valley Unified
School District recommends that before allowing your

Dept. of Education with your family.

Award Winning Books
- The Caldecott Medal The Caldecott
Medal was named in honor of nineteenth-century English
illustrator Randolph Caldecott. It is awarded annually
by the Association for Library Service to Children, a
division of the American Library Association, to the
artist of the most distinguished American picture book
for children.
