Senior Class Will

[Home] [Yearbooks] [1946]

We, the Senior Class of Round Valley High School, county of Apache, State of Arizona, being in good health and body and of sound mind and, memory, being desirous of settling our worldly affairs while we have strength and capacity to do so, do make, publish, and declare this our last Will and Testament, that is to say:

We, the Senior Class, will our places in or about the school to those who think they can with proper dignity and with due respect to us, the Departed, hold them in as able manner as we have.

    To the Faculty:

We, the Senior Class, leave all the dazzling and amazing information which we have furnished from time to time in our examination papers.

To Mr. Hamblin, we bequeath all the knowledge which we have obtained in American Government, as we have no further use for it and he may need it in teaching the Seniors of 1947.

To the Junior Class we will our knowledge, "If arsenic fails, try Chemistry".

To the on coming Freshmen we bequeath all the gum which may be found under desks, auditorium seats, or any other likely or unlikely places.

    Individuals leave the following:

Oneta wills her sweet ways with Julian to Gwendolyn Lee.  Why don't you want to talk about it Gwendolyn?

To Billy Maxwell Glenn leaves his legs.  That makes a lot of legs doesn't it Billy.

Beatrice wills her typing ability to Charles Moore.  Let's get off the Biblical system, Charley.  You know, "Seek and Ye shall find."

Wanda Lou wills her ability to get engaged to Ida Carrillo.  Be sure it's love Ida.

Sammy wills his basketball ability to Terry Lund.  Come on Terry, get your rubber legs to working.

Fay wills her ability to blush to Jerry More.  It's nice to be able to do it some times, Jerry.

Gene wills his good behavior in English Class to Merlyn and Dare.

Edna wills her silliness to Harold Bigelow.  Come on Harold giggle for us.

Lavar wills his popularity with the girls to Norma Coleman.  Let they wear your class ring, that'll get them Pete.

Mary Bess wills her 14 Karat, all wool, and yard wide smile to Ann Turley.

Bill wills his ability to drink soft drinks to Junior Rothlisberger.  Don't drink too much, it's not good for you.

Betty Jo wills her pull with Virgil to anyone who thinks they might have a chance.

Ferrell wills his speed (ability to run) to Jerry Wiltbank.

Lenora wills her timid ways to Maxine Reynolds.  You must have these you know, to become a dignified Senior.

Hanna wills her dancing ability to Edgar Burke.  Practice makes perfect, you know.

Bette wills everyone in Chemistry Class a life jacket.  You'll need it if you turn the water the wrong way.

Helen wills her car to Betsy Wiltbank.  You could probably see Jimmy more often if you had a car, Betsy.

Ruthe wills her boots and spurs to Karol Wygal.  Ride 'em cowboy.

Sara wills herself to Ronald Ashcroft.  It's a bargin, but what about Eula?

Karl Eagar wills Hazel to Karol Hamblin.  Take good care of her Karol.

Lewis wills his ability to get along with the girls to Bob Brown.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of May, One thousand Nine Hundred and Forty-Six, A. D. , in the year and month last aforesaid.

    Witnesseth:
